Minister of Health, Hon. Dr. Fenton Ferguson (2nd left), receives a commitment letter from CEO of Supreme Ventures Ltd, Brian George, indicating the company’s sponsorship of $7- million, towards the national response efforts to detect and combat any possible case of Ebola. The sum will be used to purchase a thermal sensing unit, for the Falmouth cruise ship pier, hand held fever screeners, Ebola kits for health care workers, and special kits for persons who may become infected. The handing over ceremony took place on October 27, 2014, at Jamaica House. Also participating were the Ministers of National Security and Tourism, Hon. Peter Bunting (3rd left) and Dr. Wykeham McNeill.
