Minnie Update: Just had the scare of my life. I saw Malcolm rush the corner of the fence, which told me that a small animal was just outside the big gate and went to see which cat he alerted to and it was Minnie!! He was not being aggressive just very curious, but had he not done that I would have missed the great escape. My heart sunk with fear. She and I are still building a relationship and now shes loose! I stepped out of my gate, used my happiest voice and leaned down clapping my hands calling her and Ms, Minnie pinned her ears back as she raced into my ams!!! I secured the section of fence she uses to escape after I captured Dakota, who slipped out of the gate as I was carrying a wiggly, happy Minnie back in. I stepped out and Dakota did a total ignore and was about to roam toward Park when I called in my happiest voice possible, got her attention and then went to opposite direction and glanced back to see Dakota racing to me with her ears back and a big smile on her face. She ran circles around me and then ran into the gate. As she did Malcolm decided he wanted to play the same game and I called him back in. I am offically fed up with dogs tonight! LOL I gave Minnie a big snuggle because she was acting like she was in trouble and I told her I couldnt be mad when she did such a fantastic recall. I got a lot of Minnie kisses and my ears are clean. Good thing I supervise my charges when they are outside!!!!!!
