Minor Weather Alert!!!! Im a little late to the party, but Ive been having comuter troubles all day, so I havent been paying much attention. Every area of SC is under some sort of wind related warning or advisory at this time. There are also some power outages. As always, I will put the links to both the BEC and SCE&G maps at the bottom of this update. I went outside about 15 minutes ago and the wind was howling at my house. The wind gusts in the area seem to be between 20 and 40 MPH but I wouldnt rule out a 50 MPH gust from time to time. Most of the SCE&G outages in the area are scattered around in North Charleston and Goose Creek. Theres a rather large Berkeley Electric outage Starting at I-526 at Long Point Rd. and extends almost all the way to 17. It is effecting The Long point Neighborhood, as well as Wando Estates.
