Miracles are the main things that distinguish the Bible from any other book and God’s people from any other people.In the Old Testament, when Moses was sent by God to Egypt to deliver the children of Israel, the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron saying, “When Pharaoh speaks to you and says, ‘Prove yourselves, Perform a miracle’… “Take your staff and throw it down in front of Pharaoh: it will turn into a snake’ ” (Exodus 7:8-9, Message Translation)In the New Testament, there are even more miracles, such as the birth of Jesus from a virgin and the miracle at Cana where Jesus turned water into wine. Today, with the world becoming more dysfunctional and chaotic, the supernatural is no longer optional but a requirement, if we are to preserve the earth and finish the work that our Lord had started. Without miracles, Christianity is no more than another religion and people are left with only a scientific verdict.He said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father” (John 14:12). “Greater works” means exactly what Jesus said, “Greater works!” It comes from the Greek root “megas” where we get our word mega, meaning big, very large, or exceedingly. He wants us to expect greater revelation and greater demonstrations or manifestations than ever, because we have a larger responsibility than any other generation. To put it plainly, we are supposed to be “LIVING LARGE.” “The Supernatural is Where We Were Designed to Live!”
