Miss Belle here: So momma has been weaning Ulysses off of the puppy chow and getting him use to regular dog food cuz of all his gas attacks. Last night the folks were watching a movie and Samantha was cuddled up next to Ulysses on the doggie bed while Pepper Pup, Pepper Cat, Runte, and me were on the couch keeping the folks company while resting a bit when all of a sudden Runte starts sneezing like crazy. Pepper cat and us threw her some dirty looks and then all of a sudden we discovered why poor Runte was sneezing. Ulysses was shooting out the silently but deadly flatus (gas)! Samantha woke up out of a sound sleep, stood up and looked down at a still sleeping Ulysses, then over at us all while shooting really dirty looks at momma, then she takes her front paw and starts scratching around on the doggie bed like she is trying to burry Ulysses. Ulysses never woke up through the whole thing, but Pepper cat and Runte left the room and went upstairs while momma opened a window. We sure will be happy when he gets the food thing straightened out. ♥
