Miss Elle and Miss Elizabeth attended the meeting with Minister Susan Ley this afternoon at 3pm. We felt very privileged to be able to share our thoughts and feelings with the minister and only around 10 other childcare educators. We would like to thank Minister Ley for taking the time to hear out thoughts as part of the productivity commission into childcare. The Australian Government has asked the Productivity Commission to undertake a public inquiry into future options for childcare and early childhood learning, with a focus on developing a system that supports workforce participation and addresses childrens learning and development needs.
