Missing Child Found in Chattanooga, Tenn. The 9-month-old Green County boy missing since Tuesday when his noncustodial mother took him from his legal guardian was located uninjured Thursday in Chattanooga, Tenn. His mother, who had taken him from the residence of his legal guardian uncle, Tom Davis, was arrested without incident while walking with the boy. Green County Sheriff Robby Beard said the U.S. Marshal’s Service arrested Cindy Richardson, 42, 375 Arnett Bishop Road, at approximately 3:30 p.m. CDT and placed the infant under social services’ care while family members traveled from Kentucky. Richardson will be extradited to Green County where she faces charges of felony custodial interference and theft of an auto. Sheriff Beard had determined Richardson was in Chattanooga through her cellular telephone. He was able to track her movements and relay that information to deputy marshals. The incident began Tuesday when the child’s uncle, Daniel Davis, returned home at approximately noon and discovered a black 2006 Ford F150 pickup, belonging to Tom Davis, missing along with Richardson and the infant. Richardson allegedly had nowhere else to stay and had been living at the Arnett Bishop Road address, The child’s father, who is currently incarcerated, is a brother to the Davises. Deputy Sheriff Tim Stump said the Green County Sheriff’s Department twice requested an Amber Alert be issued, but state authorities reportedly did not believe the child was in imminent danger and declined. The City of Greensburg issued a One Call alert Tuesday to city residents and officers from county, city and state police departments began searching. Tennessee police joined the search.
