Missing Person/Silver Alert Severn, MD: On October 25, 2013 at approximately 8:30 p.m. officers from the Western District responded to the 900 block of Elmhurst Road in Severn for a reported Critically Missing Elderly male who suffers from dementia. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim’s wife, who stated her husband, 71 year old male, walked out of their house to retrieve an item from his vehicle at approximately 7:30 p.m. A few minutes later, she saw her husband back the vehicle out of the driveway and drive north on Elmhurst Road toward Quarterfield Road. Mr. Holland frequents the Severn area and was last seen wearing a blue plaid coat, red short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and brown rimless glasses. A silver alert was initiated with the Maryland State Police. If anyone comes into contact with Mr. Holland or sees his vehicle, please contact police immediately.
