Mission MH370 As expected there are a lot of speculations - TopicsExpress

Mission MH370 As expected there are a lot of speculations about the whereabouts of MH370 and what happened to the fateful flight. Our thoughts and prayers remains for the passenger and crew of the flight. However. This incident does show that we still have not really got a grasp on the world around us. It is a big, big world. Hundreds of nautical miles to search, and even with all the resources available, we still are looking for MH370. We could only hope for the best, as surely the search team is doing their absolute best. Datuk Azharuddin Abdul Rahman the Director General of our Department of Civil Avaiation (DCA) is doing a good job under the pressure he is facing. He has handled several interviews, and is a credible focal point for the development of the news. While there isnt a lot of new information that he is sharing, it probably is simply because there isnt any. His next official press conference is scheduled for 11pm tonight. Lets all pray that we find the plane. That is the most important element right now. It took two years to finally find flight AF447, Air Frances Airbus A330-203 a commercial flight from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 1 June 2009, when the flight crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. So. It really has nothing to do with the skills and technologies available to us. It does have to do with how big the scale of things are. And this would continue to frustrate us, and especially the family and friends of the passengers and crew of flight MH370. MAS has formed a Go Team and it is deployed both here and in Beijing. The team is designed to help the family members of the passengers and crew of MH370 throughout this challenging time for them. Furthermore, Ahmad Jauhari is probably the best man at the helm of this crisis for MAS. An ironman competitor himself, he would have the mental strength of running this marathon of tribulations, until it concludes. Unfortunately for now we all may need to be prepared for a slightly longer then expected wait. It may be a while before we find MH370, and we could be rest assured that whatever we can do to find the plane... We are.
