Mission Prayer Update April 2 ERITREA (AFRICA) Statistics Total population: 5.4million Muslim: 50.26% Christian: 47.31% Non-religious: 1.87% Ethnoreligionist:0.56 Introduction: Recognition of four religious groups: Sunni Islam, Eritrean Orthodox, Roman Catholic and Lutheran. All other religious groups have been persecuted with increasing intensity since 2002, and even these officially recognized groups must endure government appointments and interference. #source: operation world Prayer: 1) Ask the Lord to encounter every souls afresh in the country and rule in their heart as the Prince of Peace. 2) The Christian Church face terrible ongoing persecution.
