Mission Taiwan (2 of 6) This is the Day - TopicsExpress

Mission Taiwan (2 of 6) This is the Day 1st Movement (Allegro in C Major) Tian Qing Ma, Cousin A-Xiu’s oldest son, took me to Li-Gong Bread of Life for training meeting. After Brother Wen’s welcome, I led the music worship and taught Classroom Management. The worship that evening was great. The Holy Spirit moved among us. Dinner was prepared by Pastor Lin of Ligan Bread of Life Church. It was wonderful. We met our teacher assistants from Dongang Church. They were an hour late due to the distance. The Pastor Zeng brought his crew of 30 teacher assistants. These were the young people from high schools and colleges. Most of them were seekers (not-yet-believers). Zeng established his authority by telling us how to divide the classes. There were over 300 elementary students attending the English camp in Dongang for seven teachers. Therefore, 42 students for one teacher! Keith and I had 89 5th and 6th graders. Zeng wanted one of us to teach 5th and the other one teach 6th. Since Keith did not know Chinese, we wanted to co-teach all 89 students in one class. Zeng bluntly said that it was not a good idea. I didn’t argue with him but saying, “We’re in one class.” He finally agreed with us. We had six assistants and all of them were seekers.
