Mission: To help facilitate diverse employment/staffing solutions, translation services, and diversity/inclusion consultation to our community members and partners Vision: Our diverse community contributes to the success of our community partners, which build partnership and engagement in living in an inclusive society. Goals: 1. Building relationships with community members and understanding what their employment needs are. 2. Building relationships with community partners and understanding what their diversity needs are in the areas of staffing and organizational initiatives. 3. Facilitate the relationships between community members and partners through services such as translation to create mutual understanding. Purpose D & I Staffing and Consulting started in 2013 by community member Kevin Xiong. With a over 10+ years of working in the community he lives in, he saw the challenges that under-privileged and under-represented communities go through – particularly when it comes to finding jobs to support their families. Many of these individuals may be suffering economically; however, they find all means necessary to send their children and themselves off to school. Many of these parents and students are well educated; however, they may lack the resources and skills needed to find proper work in their communities. Instead of just placing these individuals with our community partners, D & I Staffing establishes relationships with our members by understanding what their employment needs are and coaching them in creating professional portfolios. Ultimately our goal is to facilitate the relationships between our members and their employers. Our community is constantly changing and as it becomes more diverse, the demographics and structures of all businesses should reflect this change. At D & I Consulting, we are experts in the diversity and inclusion fields. We will provide translation services and help facilitate conversations and guide our organization partners in creating strong and effective diversity and inclusion policies and procedures. If our community partners are infusing a diversity and inclusion strategy or initiative into their organization, we will help guide them through that process.
