Mitchell Anderson will be an exceptional GSA President. Above all, Mitchell comes with a superior background in fiscal responsibility, and has great governance experience. (He serves on five boards, Affinity, InSpirit, Family Services Saskatoon, St. Andrews College) He is a huge advocate for daycare on campus, believes in better transit for students, has exceptional provincial government connections that he plans to use to advocate for reforms to the Immigration Nominee Program (amongst other issues). He also brings an important Aboriginal perspective to the table on issues like indigenous ways of knowing and research methodologies. Furthermore, he has considered environmental sustainability issues on campus, such as Ban the Bottle. Mitchell will put his considerable experience, practical and reasoned approach to guide the GSA into a strong, visionary and sustainable future.
