Mk 3:13,15 “Jesus summoned those he wanted...they were to be his companions and to be sent out to preach, with power to cast out devils.” Reflection: In baptism every Christian is called to be a COMPANION of Christ. You are also commissioned as a MISSIONARY in His name. The content of your mission is to “preach the Gospel and bring people to salvation through the waters of baptism” (cf. Mk 16:15-16). Now, whatever your state in life, there is a mission assigned to you. You cannot preach like a Priest if you are not one. You cannot act like a monk if it is not your way of life. But you can always lead a prayerful and caring lifestyle, with consideration for those you meet.You can learn to see the goodness in every person, whether they are agreeable to you or not. You can at least say a word of prayer for our world. You are already living out your mission by so doing. Don’t let today go by without doing your own part to make Christ known and loved in our world. Prayer: Lord, teach me what I must do to make you known and loved.
