Moderator volunteers: I am looking for people interested in being administrators for this site. I intend to have many admins to keep the burden on individuals low. Here are some guidelines to keep in mind regarding if you want to apply. 1) You need to be fair. Comments and posts should not be deleted unless they are clearly a personal attack, or are a topic that would be better discussed in an existing thread. A small amount of off topic discussion should be allowed, but if a thread is thread jacked then encourage a separate thread to discuss it. 2) Memes and such are allowed if they are funny. If they are designed to ridicule others then they should be removed. 3) No one is banned unless they are repeatedly abusive. Please explain why a post or comment was removed to allow them to understand the posting guidelines. 4) Keep the flow of posts going. People like to read new things and comment on it. Find topics of general interest that are not the same old shoe/gps/gel discussions. 5) For major events I would like to keep complaints and compliments in their own threads. If people want to complain about the rain, then they should be allowed to, but we also want to encourage positivity as well.
