Modern bus shelters for district Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution K V Thomas said that the Central Warehousing Corporation will construct modern bus shelters in Ernakulam district. The modernised bus shelters will come up at Bank junction (Aluva), opposite to Fort Kochi taluk hospital, Thripunithura-Choorakkadu junction, Maradu junction, Hill Palace junction, Kumbalam South junction, Thevara-Kundanoor junction, Manjummal junction, Thrikkakara NGO quarters junction and Mulavukadu Goshree junction. Apart from the bus shelters at Ernakulam, Rs 10 lakh has been allotted by the Central Warehousing Corporation for the construction of a mess at the poor home at Archbishop Mar Gregorios Sneha Sadanam functioning under the Syro-Malakara Catholic Church in Thiruvananthapuram, informed the minister.
