Modernized Version of TTP & Bhata Mafia “DHA Karachi” In the recent years, Pakistan has faced massive terrorism, further exploited by domestic and sectarian violence. Karachi, again the biggest city & the business hub of the country is always on the hit list. We, the Karachites have faced, witnessed and saw maximum bloodshed, firing, bombing, plundering and street crimes as compared to the rest of Pakistan. Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi, is treated as an upscale, modern and posh society of the city. DHA is a modernized version of “Cantt” with the only difference that, civilians, diplomats, bureaucrats, and politicians are all allowed to live here along with Armed Forces Personnel’s. DHA is run & administrated by Serving Army Brigadier. I am forced to write these lines after today’s incident that happened with me at DHA Sunday Market. Oh! With Sunday Market, I can so relate myself with all those people who received “Bhata Pirchi”, and those who have not experienced that yet, can visit “Sunday Market”, and certainly get an idea how you are forced to pay “Bhata” to DHA Mafia with 0 benefit or security. Today’, when I reached DHA Sunday Market, I was surprised to see it’s a huge “Commercial Market”, and the entire place is “CORDON OFF”, with DHA Security Mobiles, Car Lifters, and Vigilant Teams and so forth so on, I wanted to park my car in front of a friend’s house which was 2mins away from Sunday Bazar, I was forced to park my car inside the parking area, for which I had to pay 20 Rupees. Than me and my friends went inside the market and after few minutes we realized that somebody smartly had taken away our wallets, two IPhones and one Samsung Note. That was not less than a shock but we were hopeful as the entire market was cordoned off with 100’s of security guards, so we were assured that no one can actually run away. We ran, ran and ran and by the time we reached Sunday Bazar Complain Stall, we realized that there were at least 10 more uncle, aunties, and girls were standing to launch their complains. They had lost their wallets, wrist watches, cell phones and at the counter, no one was willing to listen us out, nobody was willing to even register a complain in fact they were responding with one answer “this is your responsibility”, if you can’t protect your belongings then why did you bring it? Instead of accommodating and polite attitude they were rude, arrogant and aggressive. I sadly realized one thing today, as a country, as a nation, the “Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan”, applies on everyone excepts the “KHAKI Wardi”. No matter what happens, in DHA we cannot question them or cannot raise our voices. DHA residents paying heavy taxes on everything and they are the ones who are suffering the most. Be it anything. From Load shedding, Gas, CNG, murders, street crimes, water, sewerage, drainage, road issues, self-security anything, residents have to do it with their own support. I can still recall few incidents including Shahzeb & Shoaib’s Murder, Targeted killing of a judge, Zahra Apa in DHA Phase 4, massive firing at a dance party where grandson of Akbar Bugti died with 30 other people, bomb blasts in Saudi Embassy, Phase Vii @ Ch. Aslam’s house, Itehad’s PSO Petrol pump and so many other incidents. What’s the difference between TTP, Bhata Mafia and DHA? They are the same but with different names and using non conventional tools to harass and best part is no one can question Administrator DHA, that what security measures he has taken? If he has taken? One man is constantly failing to survive one single battle, how can I expect him to protect me, my home, my country from enemy? Does he have guts to confront, take and accept responsibility? Yet again Women, shot dead in DHA! can anyone tell me what the ---- is DHA Doing here? Where is the ---- DHA Security? Vigilance? DHA made our life miserable, collecting taxes like anything but failed to provide basic security? DHA Comes under the Army, and he is serving Brigadier is that the only reason no one can question Administrator DHA? In last 2 years, i can recall maximum bomb blasts in DHA, massive target killing, be it Shahzaib, shahorkh, zehra apa (pti), two school kids murdered in phase 8, and countless robberies, thefts and kidnapping incidents happened. How many more love ones do we need to sacrifice? I strongly condemn this brutal act, and request all friends living in DHA that lets step out from our homes and protest in front of DHA office, and ask Mr. Administrator DHA to provide appropriate security. #dha #dhaofficial #dhakarachi
