Modest Mouse - Doin the Cockroach [Lonesome Crowded West - 1997] [indie rock] I remember when I was in high school and a friend left his mp3 player at my house, I pop the headphones in and press play and suddenly Im listening to Modest Mouse for the first time. They instantly became my favourite band and have remained among my favourites ever since. Theres something about their sound that makes them intensely unique but I cant quite place what it is. There in lies the beauty of Modest Mouse.
