Modication Means UNIFICATION OF THE COUNTRY Post independence, India has been fragmented around the narrow connes of caste, creed, region and religion by opportunistic & power hungry politicians lacking vision and commitment for the country as a whole. This fragmentation has been restraining the effective emergence of India on the global forefront. India thereby needs a leader who can unify the different sections of the society through a cohesive national vision based on rm patriotic value and steered through the effective all-inclusive governance. Modi’s reign in Gujarat has seen such a unication of different sections of society which has led to the phenomenal economic and social growth to the state. SECURITY OF NATIONAL BORDERS In the recent past, Indian borders have been breached by aggressive neighbours. This is not because Indian Armed Forces are not competent or capable to defend the same. This is simply because India lacks of decisive & unyielding leadership having a strong sense of national pride. Narendra Modi is one such leader who is decisive and full of national pride who would never compromise the national interests for personal gains. EMERGENCE OF STRONG SELF-RELIANT INDIA Like the United States of America, India has been an equal victim of terrorism perpetuated by intolerant ideologies. While the former asserted its national security and sovereignty and took decisive corrective actions, India still positions itself as a gullible soft state dependent on global doles for its existence due to lack of a patriotic and industrious leadership. Modi is one such Indian politician who has risen through the ranks, has a strong sense of Indian and Global History and understands very well the value & virtue of strength powered by self-reliance. He has been able to project the prosperity of India through his wonderful works in the state of Gujarat. ADEQUATE JOB CREATION In order to unleash the latent economic potential of the country, the demographic dividend which India possesses in terms of its competent, capable youth workforce need to be put to productive usage. This can only be possible through a leadership which has imagination, which is industrious and which has been known for its impeccable implementation. Modi’s imaginative and industrious implementation of developmental programmes in Gujarat has led to the creation of innumerable jobs. SURPLUS POWER GENERATION India’s economic slowdown is being accorded to the lack of uninterrupted power to industrial units which is causing a severe threat to India’s manufacturing might. Modi has transformed Gujarat as a major industrial hub by providing uninterrupted power supply which he has achieved through a mix of conventional and non-conventional power sources like solar power, wind power etc. Gujarat has become a power surplus state which sold 5105 Million Units of electricity to states like Rajasthan, Haryana, Maharashtra and Delhi. EFFECTIVE WATER MANAGEMENT Large parts of the country are reeling through severe water crisis, despite being gifted with perennial rivers. Either there are droughts or there are oods in various parts of the country. Farmers are nding it hard to boost their productivity. Modi’s visionary leadership and effective management has ensured that even the dry arid desert of Kutch in Gujarat get water through the tributaries of the Narmada river. He has transformed an arid Gujarat to a Green Grassland. ENABLING EDUCATION Modi’s initiatives in education have reduced the school dropout percentage at Higher Primary level from 37.22% to 7.95%. In the space of higher education, Gujarat has registered an impressive progress with a number of innovative Universities like the Teacher’s Training University, Forensic University etc., Within a decade, the number of universities in Gujarat rose from 11 to 39. PROSPERITY ACCOMPLISHMENT While the national deliberation has been grappling with that of Poverty Alleviation for several decades now, Gujarat has been marching forward towards Prosperity Accomplishment. By opening up newer sources of employment and creation of a large number of job roles, Modi has been able to brought down the level of poverty from 23% to 16.8% in Gujarat. In addition to this, he has led to an increase in the per capita income of an average Gujarati from Rs. 17,227 to Rs. 57,508. INCREDIBLE INFRASTRUCTURE Gujarat has built up an infrastructure of global standards in the last decade under Modi’s leadership. This impressive infrastructure has been pulling over global manufacturing giants from across the globe to set up their facilities in Gujarat and thereby creating more and more jobs.
