Mohamed He murdered (or threatened to kill) at least eleven men or women who insulted or threatened. Many of his victims only composed satirical poems. These verses support this policy. Sura Medina 33: 60-61 says: If the hypocrites and those who harbor the disease in their hearts, and intriguing, in Madina, do not contain, order you we will fight them; then, will not it, your neighbors, but for a short time. Are cursed: wherever you meet, should be imprisoned and cruelly killed. Muhammad had already killed some opponents for their insults and mockery before these verses were revealed, but now they give the divine foundation.
