Mr Mohd Amin Khan who resigned as district president of Congress is an experienced, honest, dynamic and a noted social activist who hails from Langatearea of Distt. Kupwara. He today joined People’s Conference along with hundreds of his supporters. Other prominent personalities who joined People’s Conference on the occasion include Dr Gh Nabi Ganie R/O Udipora, Mohd Ramzan R/O Palpora, Pahari leader Latief Ahmad MirR/O Sanzipora, Gh Mohd Sheikh R/O Qalamabad, Gh Hassan Bhat R/O Drangsoo, Javeed Ahmad Khan R/O Kutlari, Mohd Yousuf Khan R/O Kutlari.Speaking on the occasion, Lone said, “It is indispensable and demand of the nation that experienced, honest and dedicated people to take the responsibility of managing the affairs of the state. The nation desperately needs honest leaders who personify energy, enthusiasm, morality and diligence. The developmental pace will be completely different when honest and dedicated torchbearers will lead from the front. Jammu and Kashmir is corrupted, our environment and resources are mismanaged and voices of people are not heard. We need to be concerned about our environment, our resources, the injustice that is happening,the welfare of our nation and the future of our children.”He asserted that Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conferencehave different opinion on how our state should be governed. We are just different and committed to make a difference. We are dreaming of a state free from corruption,united regardless of race and religion as well as competitive in the global economy.Earlier addressing the function Mr Khan said, “I know how much impact politics could make in our lives, for better or worse. I choose to be in politics because of my love for the people of my nation and my desire to see better world around me. I was always eager to find a leader and platform who can make a difference in the lives of the people.
