Mold inspections Beautiful Sunday morning for a mold inspection in a crawl space in Oceanside NY. Customer is renting his home out and wanted to make sure the crawl area was as clean and mold free as possible. As anyone with a soil floor crawl space knows it is hard to maintain environmental controls in a space deemed unlivable. I think it’s pretty cool of this landlord to make sure this area is cleaned and disinfected for his new tenant as approx 10% of the air you breath in your living space is coming from that crawl space. The % may actually even be higher. I would have to look it up again. In a time when a lot of landlords are looking to cut costs this landlord is looking to do what ever he can to keep a reliable consistent paying tenant in the rental. On a side note I cannot believe the size of the camel crickets in this crawl space! I was too scared to stay down there any longer than I had to for pictures.
