Molly has a super busy day tomorrow that I am asking you all to be in prayer for! She has her regular scheduled chemo, spinal chemo (that requires sedation), and the needle on her port has to be changed out. The last one is going to be the most traumatic by far =( It took about 5 nurses to hold her down kicking and screaming the last time. I was so scared she was going to rip the whole thing out! Its a very terrifying process for a 2 year old. Please lift my sweet girl and surround her with prayer!! Also, be in prayer for her chemo. She went into this so strong and seemingly healthy, but I realize that its only a matter of time before the chemo starts to take a toll on her body. Im trying to prepare myself for that reality, but Im not so sure I can. Its going to be very tough. With each round of chemo, Molly will be left with a weaker and weaker immune system as well as the possibility of new side effects. Right now her biggest side effects are nausea, vomiting, and pretty severe jaw pain. I cant imagine adding anything to that list. She is an amazing little girl! Words cannot begin to tell you how honored and proud I am to be her mother! She gives me strength and courage I never knew I had!! From the bottom of my unworthy heart- Thank you for your prayers!!
