Molly, my beloved wonderful sweet docile little old lady, went to the animal hospital today because she decided big white grapes would be a yummy treat. While there it was discovered that she has a mass in every one of her mammary glands. Based on her age and the fact that she had a clean health check a little over a year ago, the vet thinks that Molly has a quick spreading form of cancer, that is fairly common in older non-spayed dogs. At this point there isnt much we can do in the way of surgeries or medical procedures, because they would be invasive, expensive and her odds of surviving them would not be great, and with the amount of lumps she has, it wouldnt do much good, as its probably past the point of no return and has started spreading into her lymph nodes. A lot of you know how much this pup means to me, and you can probably understand how heart broken I am by this news. Molly is my little lady, shes my lovebug and I cant imagine life without her. But I do know that Evan and I will spoil the ever living heck out of her in the time she has left and we are going to be so thankful for every day that we do have left. Anyway, sorry so long. Please send good joojoo and love to my old broad, even if you think its ridiculous to do so for a pet. Thanks.
