Mom Post: At what point is a step parent able to put her biological children first without being judged for not keeping things equal? Say shes always trying to play fair but by doing so her children feel they arent getting enough of her attention? The SKs have both a mother and a father. Ive read over and over on here that SMs know what they are getting into marrying someone with children, but how many can say they knew it would be as complicated as it is? The constantly being torn and pulled into everyone elses feeling, how is she expected to handle it all without resentment and feeling as if shes neglecting her own children? All while trying to make sure her SKs always fit in. RP. No Bashing Please. ~Ingrid~
