Mom had to work today, but thanks to Miss Sam (who is either very brave or still too young to be scared, lol) today included a road trip complete with lunch out, the Gainesville zoo, and best of all, a visit with Granny Betty and Miss Penny! Unfortunately, we also got the news today that they have denied our second nursing request, and tomorrow I have to request another appeal--while we wait for the hearing on the first appeal! As I understand it, the issue now is that they want the school to provide a one on one nurse--which doesnt address the issue because we need the hours whether she is in school or not. It is so very discouraging and overwhelming... so I think I am going to send that prayer request out there tonight and then ignore it until tomorrow!
