Mom has been making decent progress. Mom stood up with the assistance of her physical therapists. They took a couple steps with her, but she is still very weak from laying in bed. She was able to eat some applesauce and a graham cracker and to sip some water. She did that on her own today and was able to eat more solid food for dinner. She is talking more and being alert to her surroundings. We are very pleased with the progress she is making. They are still monitoring her in ICU. She has impressed the staff over these past few days with her alertness and cooperation. She is still within the waiting window to see how she progresses through the weekend and into next week. Thank you all for your love, support and prayers for mom and our family during this Christmas season.
