Mom post Can you please post anonymously. I need some advise, moral support I just need to vent lol So Ive been with my husband for 5 years and hes never really been close to his family and doesnt really have family in town so every year we spend the holidays with my family but this year he decided on going out of state to spend Thanksgiving with his dad and step mom and I gotta admit secretly I was kinda upset but Im also not selfish and understand him wanting to go to his dads and I know my kids will enjoy it...well Im not really close to them so I dont feel completely comfortable just walking into their kitchen and start cooking ...so I had my husband call and ask what the plans were for Thanksgivings dinner you know ...what should I take...what do I buy...do I buy the turkey...pretty much what can I help with, I really dont want to just walk in empty handed. Well their response was well figure it out when you get here ....were getting there Wed night!!!! I feel like this is a big dinner that just cant be planned over night...I really dont know what to do or should I even be worried. Should I just go with the flow when we get there???
