Mom update :75 (day 78) Mom is settled in at Siskin but still on pureed food and nectar liquids. Moms cell phone is gone. It was beside her when I left her last night. The person that changes the sheets did not pick up the sheets from the center and pull up to check for things such as glasses, phones, etc. We are pretty sure they washed it. It is her only contact to the outside world with all of her contacts and numbers. I hope to be able to upgrade her phone and get her a new one. She needs a new one anyway. She had tremendous difficulty talking this evening, but one of her regular meds makes her very drowsy. Dr. Rider called me and we agreed she needs an INfectious Disease Doctor asap. Dr. Cornea is the one we love (he saved her life) but he is on vacation and would not be able to see mom until late October. Dr. Rider has one he likes to work with. I trust their judgement. A new set of eyes can often bring a different perspective. We need to determine what is causing all the inflammatory cells ASAP. Thanks for your continued prayers! God bless
