All serious students of scripture should get that book and read it. As I remember Momee, I reflect over the Black American experience that is so unique and special. As it is often a beautiful portrait of special families who contain within them an eclectic mix diverse faiths, cultures and philosophies. Our families find ways to harmonize our diversity for the good and well-being of all included. Within the Black American experience are answers to the worlds most pressing problems. Not the least of which is the painful religious divide that is violent in many parts of the world. But among the sons and daughters of Africas slaves here in America is a peaceful coexistence within many families of our ancestral faith of Islam and the faith our American experience, Christianity. We prove that no modern version of the Crusades is needed. For in our Islam, taught to us by the prophetic Sun rising in the West, we embrace the good of both faiths and are found working along side our Christian brothers and sisters to make for us all a new day and a new world...
