Momence High School Daily Announcements Tuesday, December 9, 2014 All Students: Detentions will now be served in room 57. Seniors: It is time that you and your parents apply for your PIN numbers for your FAFSA forms. PIN numbers are needed in order for you to complete the FAFSA form. If you need help in requesting your PIN, please stop in the guidance office. Student Council: There will be a meeting after school today in Mr. Sala’s room. English 4: Band and choir students that are going to be absent on Friday: Please submit the final draft of your essays by 5pm Friday, so that they are not late. You also have the option to turn them in early. Sophomores & Juniors: BBCHS will be hosting a College Admission Fair on Wednesday, December 10th from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. You will get information on the college/admissions process for private and public colleges and universities. See Suzy for further information. Freshman: Please pick up your Fannie Mae candy order TODAY, in Mrs. McGraths room 214. Please stop by before or after school, or during your lunch period. Breakfast Club: there will be a Breakfast Club meeting on Friday, 12/12/14 at 7:40 a.m. in the Culinary Arts room. Speech Team: There will be a speech team meeting Friday after school from 3:10-4:10 p.m. Jostens Ring Service Day: Jostens will be on campus on Friday, December 12th during lunch, in the cafeteria, for ring service day. All students and staff are invited to have their Jostens ring inspected, polished, resized and stone replaced if needed, at no charge. New ring orders may be placed with a $50.00 down payment. You may design your ring at Jostens. Selfies with Santa: Santa is coming to visit MHS and ready to take some selfies!! Bring your camera or cell phone and get your selfie with Santa. Money raised will be donated to help fund the Momence Community Christmas Dinner. Our goal is to reach $250!!! Santa will be here on Friday, December 12th during lunch periods. The cost is a $1 per picture. Candy Cane Messages: Candy Cane message will be sold during lunch until Friday, December 12th. You may purchase messages before or after school in the guidance office from Suzy as well. The costs of the messages are 1 for 25¢ or 5 for $1. Messages will be delivered Thursday, December 18th during 5th period. Coat Drive: DREAM will be hosting a coat drive December 1st – December 12th. If you or your family has any gently, used coats that you would like to donate, you may bring them to Suzy in the guidance office. We are accepting coats for men, women, girls, boys, and toddlers and all sizes. If you have any questions, see Suzy in the guidance office. Our goal is to donate 100 coats to Harbor House.
