Moment of Transparency: When I find myself “going through” often times, it’s difficult to stand still & watch God move on my behalf. There’s this innate urge to handle things in my flesh, i.e. war against those whom have unjustly come against me. If I do/did, what would my actions say about my faith in God & His Word about me? God I believe your Word, I believe you want me to cast all my burdens on you, but I don’t need you to handle it, I got this one! I dont think so. Right now, I’m in a position, where I’ve never been in my entire life. To say it’s uncomfortable would be an understatement. It down right hurts, to learn my integrity is not only being called into question, but condemned as if I never possessed integrity, a standard of behavior for myself or an upright value system. I don’t fully understand why God allows every situation to occur that He does. However, what I do know, is that trials cause the intimate dependence on God to occur in a way that not much else can. For that, I’m thankful. If you find yourself in the midst of an ever changing storm, cling tightly to the only thing which never changes, God’s Love for you. Focus on Him (not your situation) & you’ll find the strength to stand in the face of adversity.
