Moment of slightly drunken confession: Im so extremely pleased to be making music again; as if you couldnt tell. Its a big challenge and its going to be an even bigger consumption of time, but the fruition is so very worth it for me. Its my hope that youll give a bit of your time and attention to these pieces of music and allow them to do what theyre meant to do; transform you. I dont claim ownership of them. To be quite frank, we are only the receivers of these arrangements. I very rarely set out to control a piece of music. Instead, I entertain an idea that manifests into a combination of sounds and rhythms that are in no way my own. They are from another realm entirely. Im a co-creator. Thats the magic of music. Were only messengers with the ability to give attention to the patterns and bring them into form. Its an endless chaos of possibilities and we have no right to give credit to ourselves for what transpires.
