Moms appointment started out great. She weighed in at 129.2 (slight increase !!!! ) Her CA-19 tumor marker has remained stable at 35...which is what healthy people have. Tumor in pancreas is still dormant ( due to the great job that the radiation did several months ago ). There has been significant progression in the right lung. Chemo is no longer working. Mom is leaning towards not doing a clinical trial. She has said that we have done everything we can do....and that she has always been totally in Gods hands. Shortly after receiving this dreadful news, the fortune in Moms cookie said You are heading for a land of sunshine and relaxation. We all know that this is Heaven! For now, Mom holds on.
