Mon Mar 31 update: Kai had a great day! Mondays are homeschool co-op days for our family. Everyone at co-op has been so supportive, concerned & praying for Kai. So it was great for him to be able to attend today. Steve accompanied him all day. Kai visited fellow students before classes; participated in cooking class & made his own parfait; built a catapult in Lego engineering class; ate PIZZA for lunch... yes PIZZA! He played basketball at recess; and then drew a highway meeting a sunset in art class. After a nap Kai then enjoyed chopped chicken w/ rice & steamed carrots for dinner. This boy is eager to get rid of the g-tube! Some Lego free building tonight & Transformers cartoons to finish the day. Therapists arent available this week, but I think we got this... lots of PT, OT & even speech already going. :-) Mom & Dad are tired from alarms, night time feeds & bathroom trips. Otherwise all is great. Glory to God for leaps & bounds! Blessings to Kais prayer warriors
