Mon. October 21, 2013 Good morning 7th & 8th graders: If any of you are interested in the Greenville Junior High Theater Workshop there is an informational meeting tomorrow at the Junior High in the cafeteria. The meeting will begin at approx. 2:45 and last approx. one hour. Reminder, no hot lunches today. The Butterfly pre-school class will go to the fire station this morning at 9:30. The kindergarten class will go to the library at 9:30 on Wednesday. The Rosary Club will meet Thursday after school from 2:30 to 3:30. Students in grades 5 thru 8 will have scoliosis checks on Thursday beginning at 12:30. The Endangered Animal’s Club will meet tomorrow from 2:30 to 3:30 in Mrs. Pierri’s room. Join the club for fun, games, education, and more. This is for grades 2 thru 8. If a student joining the Club has a kindergarten brother or sister who would like to attend they may. Mr. Bingham will not be here today. At the end of the day if everybody could sit their trash in the hallway the junior high students will pick it up and throw it out. Thank you junior high students. St. Marys Student Council Pink Day: The Student Council is having a pink day, it will be on Wednesday, October 23rd. You do not have to be in uniform if you bring in a can of food or a cash donation. The cash donations will be sent to the Darke County Breast Cancer Association and the canned goods will be sent to a local food pantry. The cash donation can be as little as a penny, hopefully, you can afford more than that. The Student Council thanks you. Happy Birthday Ben Hartzell and Mrs. Pierri. Ben please come to the office after the 8th grade is finished with the rosary. Update on Mrs. Jenkinson: Mrs. Jenkinson is now at the Brethren’s Home for a week or two. She is slowly getting better and said she really loved the cards. Thought for the Day: “Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back everything is different?”
