Monaca wins grant for brownfield redevelopment. Monaca will receive a $150,000 grant from the Environmental Protection Agency to help with brownfield redevelopment along the Ohio River. The money will be used for brownfield redevelopment in Monaca, Midland, Aliquippa and Coraopolis. The U.S. Department of Commerce announced another grant, $115,861, to Entreworks Consulting to boost manufacturing jobs in Lawrence, Mercer, Venango and other counties in northwestern Pennsylvania.
