Fear ye not therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows. Matt 10:29-31 Charles H. Gabriel wrote this song: Why should I feel discouraged Why should the shadows come Why should my heart be lonely And long for heaven and home When Jesus is my portion My constant friend is He His eye is on the sparrow And I know He watches me. Child of God, always have this understanding that if God is watching over sparrows and flowers, which blossom today and tomorrow it’s gone, He sure will much more watch over you, because you are a replica of Him. Consider these: “look at the birds of the air for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they”? (Mathew 6:26). “Do not fear... you are of more value than many sparrows (Luke 12:7b). Whenever you are tempted, whenever the clouds arise, whenever songs give place to sighing, when hope within seems to die, draw closer to your Father for He cares and watches over you.
