Monday, August 19, 2013 The God Who Chases The Sea Away! Scripture - When Israel came out of Egypt— when the house of Jacob came out from a people who spoke a different language— Judah was God’s sanctuary; Israel was God’s territory. The sea saw it happen and ran away; the Jordan River retreated! The mountains leaped away like rams; the hills leaped away like lambs! (Psalms 114:1-4 CEB) Observation - When I come out of the mindset and mannerisms of the world and am filled and possessed of God, those things that would normally and naturally stand in the way must yield to the Spirit of God within me like stop lights all being switched to green before a motorcade carrying the head of state. Application - Am I aware of the favor of God that has been afforded me? Am I looking for the paths God who travels with me is creating for me? If a mountain is not moving, am I contending with the right mountain? Prayer - Lord Jesus You know the way and there is no obstacle that is too big for You to handle! What else do I need to know?
