Monday, January 27, 2012 You Are the Apple of God’s Eye Ps 17: 8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, We are special and precious in the eyes of God. His Word says we are the apple of His eye; which means that we are dear to the heart of the Almighty God. God cherishes us. God loves us. God watches over us and protects us. He keeps us from the attack of the enemy. God is the one that says that we belong to Him, and he that touches us, touches the apple of His eye. He spoke of Jacob in Deut 32:10 where He says “He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.” In other words, Jacob was chosen by God. Always remember that you are precious in the sight of God. Remember, you are the apple of God’s eye. Prayer Focus: Father, I thank you for watching over me and keeping me in every way. I thank you Lord for making me the apple of your eye! Verse of the Day: Zech 2:8 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. Living the Word Today: Walk with boldness knowing that God is watching over and keeping you.
