Before you know it, youre answering the phone on Sundays, replying to emails at midnight and struggling to find time for you and your family. The thing is, your business will expand to fill the time available and people will do what you let them. If you answer the phone on a weekend, people will assume its OK to call on a weekend. If you reply to emails at midnight, people will come to expect urgent replies any time of they day or night. Because youve showed them that its ok. But that kind of behaviour quickly leads to burnout. You NEED time for you and for your family. You NEED to set boundaries before you burn out.
