Monday Minute: You Can Change! This past weekend, my family and I returned to my hometown for our Annual Fourth of July Parade and Picnic. It’s always special to connect with so many friends and family. One particular encounter this weekend caused me to reflect back to a time of my life when I was much different. Cruel and cold-hearted appropriately summarizes my attributes during this portion of my life. You may be wondering to yourself, “Were you a believer at this point?” Yes, yes I was. Your second question may be, “Were you in the ministry at this point?” Yes, yes I was. Today, by the grace and mercy of God, I am a different person. The Lord has graciously changed my heart and perspective of how I once behaved. What about you? Are you tired of how you have been acting? You may be a believer like me or maybe you don’t know Christ. Either way, you can be changed today through the gospel! Do you know someone that was like me and you desire for him/her to change? Let me tell you something. That person can change! You can’t change by yourself but with the help of heaven, you can! The Lord can change your heart. So, call out to Him for help right now. If you desire a change in someone else’s life, then don’t give up on them. If they are still breathing, there is hope and God can change them! Be encouraged and go straight to God for your change!
