Monday Morning Prayer: Heavenly Father, yesterday I crossed the border from the United States to Canada. They didnt let me in because I was a good person, because I was friendly or because I wanted to visit Canada. They let me in because I had a passport. It reminded me, Lord, that you and you alone are my passport to Heaven and I have no other hope; no self-righteousness, no good name and no good deeds in themselves will suffice. When I stand before you, my faith and trust will be in the finished work of Christ on the Cross and his resurrection that enables all believers to conquer death. My passport to Heaven is in Christ and I have full confidence in Him to get me through the gates. In Jesus Name, AMEN.
