Monday Motivation: Be yourself. You are Gods workmanship. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. He formed you in your mothers womb. This we all have in common. Yet, our finger prints and DNA support the idea that we are all very different. When we were born again, we were born a second time but this time of the Spirit. All believers have this in common. Yet, though we are all born of and even gifted of the same Spirit, we are all different. While we are members of the same Body, the Spirit has given us gifts individually according to His will. There is no one like you. And your success is dependent on you being your unique self in Christ with Christ in you...using whatever gifts God has given you as an individual. You are His workmanship. You are His product. And God does not make faulty products. While failures might occur, you should not fail! Youre not made to fail. And you wont, unless you are trying to succeed at being someone else. I dont know if youre familiar with the term mini-me. Without referencing the movie, let me describe a mini-me as a smaller version or even a replica of someone else. Dont be a mini-me of anyone. Its ok to emulate, but to imitate is an insult to Gods forming, styling and detailing of you. Youll never have good success being someone else. So, be who you are in Christ with Christ in you. God, the Body of Christ, your church, your family and the world, for that matter, need you, not a replica of somebody else.
