Monday, November 25, 2013 Happy Birthday to my wonderful Billie. I love you honey. Lord God, please get rid of all of the present government now. We need people that care what happens to the United States not people who are no different than those who desire to live off of the system. The government is sucking the United States dry. Taking the life out of her. I know Jesus is weeping over her like he did over Israel. Father, I claim in the name of Jesus your son that the Cleveland Clinic will have its accreditation before Billie must go for her surgery. We claim this to be so in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. AMEN! Let it be done. Please pray for Billie’s body to be healed by the power of God, adding in a friend of Kathy’s whose name is Dave who needs prayer for healing, for Rick to be healed and receive God’s Wisdom. Please lift Mark up in prayer. For everyone to study the word daily. These are five very much needed prayers. 1 John 1: 1 - 4 The Incarnation of the Word of Life 1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. Of course John was talking about Jesus. Jesus who was with God before time began who was the true Word of God. They had been told about the Messiah, the one who would come and deliver the people, and now John is testifying that he has seen and touched Jesus, had walked beside him, ate with him and ministered with him. 2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. God had such a time trying to get humanity listen to Him and obey His word and walk with Him so He sent his Son to earth, through natural birth and lived among them. He needed to show them how he wanted them to live. 3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. Once the apostles realized who Jesus really was they knew they had seen God the Son. They went out to the people and proclaimed him telling of how Jesus came to us from Heaven and then went back to be with the Father and we are to follow them daily, for Jesus is the true Messiah. 4 We write this to make our joy complete. It was now up to the apostles to give out the message that Jesus brought from His Father. They were to spread the word and that word has continued until this day. We are now the apostles for Jesus ourselves. Do you spread the word for Jesus? Are you concerned for the souls of your family and friends? Do you try to bring them home to Jesus by accepting him? Or have you become so lax in your life concerning Christ that you are leaving that up to someone else. Do you at least plant the seed? Psalms 128: 1-3 A song of ascents. 1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. Do you fear God? Fearing God in this sense is reverencing Him, knowing how Holy God is, do you sometimes get on your knees and humble yourself before Him? This is all God wants from us and He will continually watch over you and supply all of your needs, you will receive His blessings daily. 2 You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. If you walk in the way God wants you to walk, if you strive daily to do his will. If you share the Word with others, spreading the good news, you will reap the blessings and will not want because God your Father will provide all of your needs. 3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. This is speaking of the family of God, Christ as the husband and the body of Christ, (the church) also known as the bride is the wife. Even though we are weak and frail compared to our husband we are to gather our husband’s children around him. We are to build them up strong so that they too can bring more into the family of God.
