Monday, October 6th me and Sam went to the county clerk to get our marriage license. We were filling out the paper work and getting ready to go. Sam noticed Sophie was holding her finger and he asked her what happened. Sophie pointed and said that bit me when Sam looked, it was a scorpion.. It seemed like everyone in the building was to Sophies rescue... With ice, candy, and comfort. Sophie didnt cry, and she was praised on how tough she was by every woman who came her way! The judge came to check on my daughter personally and reassured me they would take care of any charges, if needed, for her. Thank God Sophie wasnt allergic and no medical treatment was needed. The Judge said he didnt know what else he could do for us, the clerk made a comment that he could wave the 72 hour wait and marry us that day, and he did. Saying it was the least he could do. What a Monday we had...
