Money.. Money is a powerful thing. Yep, that flimsy, old, piece of paper in your back pocket. Those tiny, little chunks of engraved metal that are strewn across the streets. Of course, were not concerned with the material its made out of. You know, the material of such high quantity and easy access, that we produce it with immense ease. Just the ideological implication of what having that material means. In the eyes of the poor, its life; in the eyes of the rich, its power. It should be neither of these things. Power is something to be given to you out of respect. It is not to be abused; rather, burdened with responsibility. A powerful person should assume the alpha role of protector, provider, and caretaker. This chase for the almighty dollar has already caused so much pain and suffering. No person should have to go hungry because they cant afford a meal. No war should be fought, just to climb higher aloft an ever collapsing, economic, pedestal. There is no justifiable, monetary amount for the loss of life. Neither property, nor the inherent idea of wealth, will give you a good life. At the end of the day, all we have are memories. Memories that we can look back on. We can look back and laugh and cry. It will be our memories that determine quality of lives we had. Not whatever useless materials happen to be surrounding us.
