Money Truck spills over HK$15 Million in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Only HK$5.69 million was recovered with majority still in the hands of the 20 to 30 people who collected the bank notes strewn along Gloucester Road in Wan Chai before heavily armed security cordoned off two lanes. The G4S security van was loaded with a total of HK$525 million in HK$500 notes when the vehicle’s doors opened dropping 2-3 boxes. The missing boxes was only reported when the three-man crew aboard the van arrived at their main office in Cheung Sha Wan. Some of the money recovered was from the two people who handed over HK$1 million and another person with HK$2 million.
