Money isnt everything, especially when theres no world to enjoy it. The incidences and voracity of these climate events, (and not just bush fires, but cyclones, winds, crazy weather patterns, global temperature etc) is all on the rise. And its caused by you and I. Its not an opinion (which people seem to think) ITS SCIENCE -- ITS FACT! We either sit back and listen to Abbott and Co and accept their inaction to this global catastrophe (And all the other skeptics who use this as a divisive way to gain political power, who rubbish Scientists and Climate Change advocates, such as the UN, CSIRO)... OR go for option two: We listen to the scientists who are ALL telling us to make societal changes before its too late. Dont be fooled, Tony stands for big business and big business likes to pollute and cause us harm. Why not stand up and say: No to the polluters and make them accountable to fixing their ways before we stand to loose everything. Not just your home taken by a bush fire or hurricane, but the entire planet, your family, our future generation. With the Carbon Tax we made it expensive for companies to pollute, so they progressively stop polluting by way of investment into less-polluting infrastructure and stop paying a carbon tax. The big polluters stop polluting, we live in a cleaner environment and the world is one step closer to fixing global warming, i.e. less extreme weather. Its a hard comprehension for the 55% of us who recently voted to simply put their heads in the sand and deny the reality of whats actually happening. The problem is when it comes round to everyone finally joining the chorus -- IT WILL BE TOO LATE!!! The damage will have already been done and all we can do then is judge those who did nothing and ignore the warnings given by the scientists. Vote for The Australian Greens or The Australian Labor Party to make a difference. Money isnt everything, especially when theres no world to enjoy it. Kyle Dean
