Monica Jones was not arrested because she was caught soliciting. She was arrested for manifestation of prostitution ... for walking down the street, dressed in a certain way, being a certain kind of person, in a certain part of Phoenix at a certain time. This is the kind of constant harassment trans women of colour face. All she wants is the right to walk down the street like anybody else.
